Right now, we are not worshiping in our sanctuary due to COVID-19. When the weather cooperates, we gather for Worship Under the Trees outside and you are invited!
Worships begins at 9:00 am, outside under the trees behind the church building. Our first priority is safety, so please bring your own chair and wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose. Worship is casual. Wear whatever you are comfortable with. Some of us wear jeans (or shorts in warm weather), others prefer to dress up a bit (mostly just the minister).
The service begins with a warm welcome and a few announcements about what's coming up in the life of the church. We often use this time to share a little about how our church is serving the community and the ways in which we can all get involved.
Worship Under the Trees includes a time of prayer when we share our joys and concerns. Our minister's sermon is normally about 15 minutes long and includes stories and examples that are relevant to our lives. Communion is the final part of worship. Everyone is welcome to participate in communion (and yes, we mean everyone!). During this time of social distancing, please bring your own communion elements. You can bring a donut and coffee or bread and juice...whatever you like. We see communion as a community meal, celebrating God's love as it was revealed to us in Jesus' life and ministry.
We hope you will join us soon!
If you don't feel comfortable worshiping in person, please join us on Facebook LIVE at 10:15 am.
